CERTH is one of Greece’s leading research centres, promoting innovation and technological advancement. The Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the CERTH constitutes its founding member and stands out as a major hub for informatics, telematics, and telecommunications based in Thessaloniki. CERTH participates through the Multimodal Data Fusion & Analytics (M4D) group of the Multimedia Knowledge and Social Media Analytics Laboratory (MKLab) with scientific expertise in AI, Cybersecurity, Explainable AI Semantic Technologies and Integration of heterogeneous resources and Big Data Analytics.
Role in XTRUST-6G
CERTH plays a crucial role in XTRUST-6G project as the project coordinator. It leads tasks related to the project management and coordination, trusted AI/ML schemes and 6G Cyber-Threat Intelligence (CTI) gathering and sharing. The key tools that will be developed by CERTH are: AI Attestor to assess AI robustness, CTIMP for AI-driven CTI collection and correlation and IDGE for structuring and analyzing online CTI with ML. Additionally, CERTH will contribute to AI-based collaborative intrusion detection, ML-driven physical layer security for 6G and federated 6G security event management and threat insights.
