CYEN is an innovation-as-a-service provider SME in Norway with significant expertise in cybersecurity knowledge representation, its management and exchange, cyber intelligence, and security automation. It crosscuts the above domains by incorporating symbolic, connectionist, and hybrid AI. In addition, CYEN has been a front-runner in international standardization activities supporting cybersecurity-enabling standards like STIX 2, CACAO, and Threat Actor Context and has contributed to the global open-source community key-enabling technologies like the CACAO-Roaster project for security orchestration and automation.
Role in XTRUST-6G
In the context of the XTRUST-6G project, CYEN contributes to activities focusing on cyber threat intelligence, security orchestration, automation and response, incident response, cybersecurity playbooks, semantic technologies, hybrid AI, and dissemination and standardization activities.
CYEN leads two essential tasks:
- Analysing the threat landscape and identifying emerging (5G &) 6G threats, shaping the basis for the project’s technical architecture; and
- AI-enhanced zero-touch security orchestration automation and response platform (also deployed as rApp in Pilots’ 6G infrastructures).
