Profile
The Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SNT) at the University of Luxembourg conducts innovative research in four key areas: Cybersecurity, Autonomous Systems, FinTech, and Space Systems. SNT has extensive expertise in signal processing, 6G wireless, cooperative, optical, and satellite communication systems, physical layer security, network orchestration, and AI/ML applications. In XTRUST-6G, SNT provides advanced tools and algorithms for quantum key distribution, as well as testing environments for non-terrestrial networks (emulated) and 6G networks.
Role in XTRUST-6G
SNT leads WP6 and is responsible for Tasks T6.2 on Quantum Technologies for 6G communications and T6.3 on ML-based physical layer security for 6G communications. Additionally, SNT leads Pilot 3, which focuses on quantum key distribution for end-to-end 6G security, and contributes to Pilot 4 on securing UAV-assisted 6G communications.
